The Service Learning & Leadership course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of service learning, servant leadership, and volunteerism. This course focuses on: Explaining the concepts of service learning, servant leadership, and volunteerism, along with their practical applications. Showcasing real-life examples of these concepts in action. Guiding students on how to actively participate in service learning, servant leadership, and volunteerism. Teaching the integration of service learning principles into leadership, civic engagement, and community service. Enhancing communication skills to effectively convey the benefits and impacts of service learning, servant leadership, and volunteerism. Additionally, this course aligns with the Citizens High School Program Learning Outcomes by developing skills in problem solving, critical thinking, effective communication, ethical reasoning, and interdisciplinary knowledge. It also emphasizes civic engagement and social responsibility, preparing students as well-rounded digital citizens ready for both personal and professional growth.
