Furthermore, the course addresses the ethical and legal aspects of media arts. Students will learn to use the right technologies and methods effectively to design and showcase media art pieces that cater to a wide range of viewers.
In this segment, students dive into the creation and fine-tuning of media artworks, with a special emphasis on digital photography. They'll engage in a process that includes experimenting, receiving feedback from classmates and instructors, and introspective analysis. A key aspect of the unit will be understanding the distinct qualities and artistic values of both color and black-and-white photography.

During this unit, students will reflect on and assess their own skills and passions, particularly in relation to career paths in media art's design, production, distribution, or management aspects. Additionally, this course equips students to maintain a detailed log of their creative process in both the production and presentation of a media artwork. This includes the use of a tracking mechanism that aligns with the medium or media used in their specific project.
The RST accounts for 30% of the final grade. In this section, students will engage in developing a Wix website, which will act as their personal portfolio. This website will display their entire collection of work from the beginning of the course, establishing them as proficient photographers. The assignment includes the creation of a promotional advertisement for their photography services. Students are expected to integrate elements from all previously covered units to effectively articulate and market their skills and artistic works.
